A service corridor is transformed into a behind-the-scenes tour experience for museum visitors complete with informative wall-applied graphics and touch-screen panels for additional learning. Additional capital improvement projects include the animal hospital renovation and lab renovation. In the animal hospital, new viewing windows were added to the treatment and necropsy rooms and associated millwork was upgraded. The lab renovation project includes workstation reconfiguration, millwork upgrades and a specialized ceiling renovation which included the development of a lay-in drainage system in the 2X4 ceiling grid to accommodate potential future leaks from the Amazon exhibit located above.
