Nevin Hedlund

Professional Experience
Nevin Hedlund, AIA, has designed and been the Architect of Record for a wide variety of projects in the Chicago metropolitan area and beyond, with building types including museums, religious facilities, universities and other educational facilities, institutions and corporate clients. Nevin began his career in architecture working at Harry Weese Associates on local historic renovation projects, such as the Field Museum, Auditorium Theater and the Newberry Library. He continued his career at Lohan Associates where he focused on corporate and government projects, including the IRS Computing Center in Detroit, the American General Life Insurance Company headquarters in Nashville and an expansion to the U.S. District Court for which he won several awards.  In 1996, Nevin left Lohan Associates to found Nevin Hedlund Architects, which has grown to serve a broad range of clients throughout the area.
