NHA is pleased to be working on another project with Loyola University, this time renovating the offices on the 9th floor of Lewis Tower.

NHA has worked extensively with Comcast over many years and is pleased to be working on another head-end facility renovation with them, this time in Elmhurst.

NHA originally converted an existing synagogue into the Bais Yaakov Jewish girls’ high school in 2013. The latest phase of renovations includes adding a teaching kitchen, library, student resource rooms, additional classrooms and a large recreation room for all-school meetings and events.

NHA is working with Good Shepherd Church on renovations, an addition and a fire restoration project for their existing facilities.

NHA is working closely with the staff at the Shedd Aquarium to analyze existing layout and adjacencies for offices and associated spaces. They are developing a master plan to better utilize the existing offices and storage spaces for long term efficiencies.

The renovations at the Loyola Fitness Center (Maywood Campus) include updated locker rooms and a full renovation of the indoor swimming pools and spa.

2014
The Wellness Center at Loyola University Chicago provides primary care, preventative services and wellness programming for students at the University. The project includes the complete reconfiguration of the 3rd floor of the Granada Center at Loyola’s Lakeshore Campus. The 11,350 square-foot space now includes 7 exam rooms, 10 mental health offices, a clinical station with 9 workstations and medicine dispensary area, a laboratory, a group therapy room, a multipurpose room with “smart classroom” capabilities, multiple office suites for administrative, health promotion and medical staff and a variety of support spaces. NHA worked closely with the Wellness Center staff to meet the specialized requirements of the Center, especially with regards to equipment and specific millwork and storage needs. Additionally, NHA developed detailed layouts of the exam rooms to ensure the selected medical equipment would fit and function properly.

Nevin Hedlund Architects, Inc. sends out its latest postcard featuring the Cuneo Mansion & Gardens of Loyola University Chicago.
The Cuneo Mansion & Gardens were donated by the Cuneo family to Loyola University to be used for weddings, conferences, tours of both the museum and gardens and winter lights activities. The project includes the renovation of the existing 1963 pool house into a commercial kitchen and restroom facility and replacement of an existing tent with a four-season structure for receptions, banquets, seminars and other similar functions.

The window project is complete at Loyola University Chicago’s Cuneo Campus, where a majority of the historic mansion’s windows have been replaced.
