Adler Planetarium, Chicago’s Night Sky
Chicago, Illinois
Nevin Hedlund Architects worked closely with staff at the Adler Planetarium to arrange and highlight the interactive displays in their “Chicago’s Night Sky” exhibit. An adjacent workshop provides a space for visitors to make creative connections to the exhibit. Architecturally, careful placement and orientation of the stations allow for a flow of guests and appropriate space to enjoy each station. Above, “constellations disks” incorporate a series of small individual lights arranged to represent the various constellations visible in the night sky.
